Well, people seem to mirror my sentiments about that last one, but never mind, the email came through, so here's something a little more substantial - I'll put it up as a series over the next two weeks or so.

Fragments of Life

Dear Diary, 21/01/2005

It was my New Year’s resolution to keep a diary from now on so that when I’m older, I can look back through what I’ve written and have a good laugh at myself, or cry forgotten tears, or just surprise myself when I’m sooo old that I can’t remember what I did with my life. Unfortunately, as you can see by the date, I didn’t get off to the best start – sorry – but I’ll try and remember from now on (we’ll see how that goes :) ). Anyway, what happened today? Not a lot really, I got a bit bored at school, as usual, but we had Business Studies, which I’m finding more and more interesting, so that was okay.
I think I like Kelly but I’m not sure… she’s really pretty and she seems to know who I am, which is more that can be said for another person, who shall remain nameless, (but we both know who I mean).
Right, well, best leave it at that for now, got to go to bed, see you tomorrow.

Poignant thought for the day: I don’t really know what poignant means, but I like the phrase ‘poignant thought’, so I’ll find out and hope it isn’t too hard to come up with one.
